There’s something very satisfying about being able to make symmetrical pieces from the collections of broken jewellery I have. It’s even more satisfying when I realized that everything except the backing is more than forty years old.
This piece is versatile for all seasons. That emerald green sparkle really brings it together. The piece is sealed to protect it for longer wear.
This bib sits narrowly. Only 10cm/4in before the chain. It makes it simpler to wear with more things. It’s 49.5cm/19in plus a 9cm/3.5in extension. As someone who usually wears 18in chains, I found it sat plenty high, close to my collarbones, which was exactly where it looked and felt best. Length adjustments are always possible. From chain to tip the pieces sits to 65cm/25.5in.
In my mind, emerald green is harder to come by in vintage rhinestones. This really stood out as something very successful and rare in a finished product.
